Meet THE doctor

Dr. Paul Muthiah is a General Practitioner and Cannabis Clinician based on the sunny Central Coast, NSW.

He was born and raised in London, England and went on to graduate as a doctor in 2005. He aspired to become a GP and completed his vocational training scheme in Kent, England in 2010.

Dr. Paul worked in Urgent Care Centres and as a GP in London before migrating to the Central Coast in 2013.

He has a vast experience of general practice and enjoys helping patients along their own health journeys. Paul enjoys practicing in a holistic manner and empowering patients to make their own informed health decisions.

He developed a passion for mental health during his hospital rotations working in psychiatry and continued this into his GP career. After seeing patients who disclosed benefits from using medicinal cannabis, Paul embarked on furthering his own knowledge within this emerging field of medicine. He recognises the importance of helping patients who have not benefited from more conventional therapies, or may have developed intolerable side effects from such options.

Dr.Paul likes keeping up to date with the latest in medicine and formerly worked as a medical co-editor and continues in his fulfilling GP role.

Away from medicine, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He loves sport and is always game for playing tennis, golf, and football.

He looks forward to meeting you and helping you to achieve your treatment goals.

Authorised Prescriber
An Authorised Prescriber (AP) is a doctor that has already received authority from the Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA) to write medical cannabis prescriptions which means you’ll experience none of the wait time associated with other cannabis access pathways, such as the SAS pathway.
