Do I need a regular GP or referral to use Polln?

No, you don’t need a referral from your GP to use Polln. A referral can sometimes be helpful because it gives your Polln doctor extra context — things like your diagnosis, previous treatments, or relevant test results. This information can make it easier for your doctor to understand your health history from the very first appointment.

But it’s completely fine if you don’t have a regular GP or access to a referral. We understand not everyone has a regular GP. You can provide everything your Polln doctor needs through our onboarding questionnaire and by uploading any documents you may already have.

During your 30-minute initial consultation, your Polln doctor will take the time to explore your symptoms, history, and treatment goals to ensure they have a full picture of your health before recommending next steps.

What do I need for a telehealth consultation?

To attend your Polln telehealth consultation, you’ll need a device with a working camera and microphone (such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer) and a stable internet connection.

Using video helps your doctor complete a more thorough assessment and provides the best consultation experience.

If you’re unable to access video, please contact our Care Team so we can advise you on the next steps.

How do I book a consultation?
