Who do I talk to if I have a question about my medication?

If you have a question about your medication, the right person to speak with depends on the type of question:

Clinical questions (e.g., dosing, side effects, how to use your medication)

Speak with one of Polln’s clinical nurses. Our nurses can provide guidance, answer general questions, and help you understand your treatment plan.

Medical advice or changes to your prescription questions

For personalised medical advice, dose adjustments, new symptoms, or changes to your medication, you’ll need to book a follow-up consultation with your Polln doctor.

If you’re experiencing an unwanted side effect:

  • Stop using the medication, and
  • Contact the Polln Clinical Nursing Team or Care Team on 1300 176 556 so we can triage your concern and advise whether you need a follow-up with your doctor.

Your doctor may recommend a follow-up consultation to review your treatment plan.

If you are experiencing severe symptoms or think you may be having a medical emergency, call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.
