Mental health is part of life.
So is getting help.
If you're feeling stressed, anxious, or low, you don’t have to carry it alone.
Mental health challenges are
more common than people realise
One in five Australians experience a diagnosed mental health condition each year — most commonly anxiety or depression. Yet, many people experiencing common signs — like feeling burnt out, fatigued, or mentally overwhelmed — delay seeking support, often ignoring symptoms or dismissing them as ‘just stress’.
It’s common for people to push through — without realising the toll a continued low or anxious mood can take on us mentally, emotionally, and physically.
It’s not about waiting for a breaking point. It’s about recognising that support is
available, without judgment.
A quiet reality
The right help shouldn’t be hard to find,
but it often is.
You don’t have to push through.
At Polln, we’re here to help you find a better fit and put your mental health needs first
Recognising the signs
The signs aren’t always loud but they’re worth listening to
Even after getting support for anxiety or depression, mental and emotional strain can resurface — — sometimes as tiredness you can’t shake, irritability, or a sense of detachment. These signs are easy to dismiss, especially if you’re used to pushing through.
Here are some signs worth paying attention to
Withdrawing from family, friends or colleagues
Trouble focusing or feeling present
Emotional flatness or numbness
Rest that doesn’t feel restorative
Lingering irritability, stress, or a shorter fuse than usual
Changes to sleep or appetite
If you’ve tried other support options without success, or feel like your experience hasn’t been fully understood, this could be a space to explore more personalised care.

Frequently asked questions
Polln is an online alternative healthcare clinic for people seeking doctor-led, integrative support through a simple digital platform. Our AHPRA-registered doctors take a holistic approach and offer longer, more personalised consultations to help you explore natural therapy options safely and confidently.
Polln may be the right choice for you if you’re looking for:
- In-depth, high-quality consultations with doctors experienced in natural and integrative care
- Clear, accessible pathways to explore natural therapy options
- The convenience of having prescriptions managed and filled online
- Unlimited free nurse support for education, guidance, and follow-ups
- Transparent, consistent pricing with no hidden fees
In Australia, alternative therapy prescriptions may be considered when:
- You have a diagnosed chronic health condition (present for 3+ months)
- You have tried other forms of treatment that either failed to provide relief in treating the condition or resulted in adverse side effects.
Your Polln doctor will assess your medical history and needs to determine whether natural therapies are an appropriate option for you.
When you book a consultation with Polln, you’ll have access to a secure telehealth patient portal where you can self-serve—schedule, manage, and attend your consultation online at a time that suits you.
During your consultation, simply log in and click Attend Consultation to meet with your doctor. You’ll have a dedicated 30-minute consultation to discuss your health history, current symptoms, and previous treatments. Your doctor will complete a thorough clinical assessment, answer your questions, and talk you through suitable treatment options. If appropriate, your doctor may issue a prescription and explain the next steps in your care plan.
After your consultation, any prescriptions will appear in your patient portal. From there, you can select your medication, complete payment, and arrange delivery to your nominated address—making it easy to continue treatment without needing to visit a pharmacy in person.
If you have questions at any stage, Polln’s nursing team is here to support you. We offer free, ongoing nurse support to help you feel informed and supported throughout your healthcare journey—not just during your consultation.
All treatments prescribed by Polln doctors are legal in Australia and prescribed in line with current Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) requirements.
Because these treatments are prescription alternative medicines, they can’t be listed on our website or promoted publicly, and prescriptions depend on an individual medical assessment.
In general, a doctor may consider prescribing where:
- You have a chronic condition (typically lasting three months or longer), and
- Standard or registered treatments have been tried and were not effective, not suitable, or caused unwanted side effects, and
- There are no medical reasons or contraindications that would make treatment unsafe (such as certain mental health conditions, or pregnancy or breastfeeding).
Your doctor will explain what options may be appropriate for you during your consultation. A prescription is never guaranteed, and all decisions are based on clinical judgement and patient safety.
At Polln, we adhere to strict regulations set by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration. As such, we are unable to disclose specific treatment names until after you've completed a consultation with one of our specialist doctors and have been approved for treatment.
This approach ensures that a qualified medical professional thoroughly discusses all available options with you before any decisions regarding medical treatments are made.
Polln consultations are a paid medical service because they are delivered by AHPRA-registered doctors and designed to provide a thorough clinical assessment, not a quick screening.
Each consultation includes a dedicated 30-minute session to review your medical history, current concerns, and potential treatment options. Consultation fees reflect the time and clinical expertise involved in your care.
Our approach is designed to support high-quality, doctor-led care and ensure every patient receives considered medical attention and clear next steps.
