Meet the doctor
Dr Rasika Dona is a warm and dedicated GP Registrar, based in Bendigo, Victoria.
With over 15 years of medical experience spanning across critical care, emergency medicine, and general practice, Dr Rasika brings deep clinical expertise and a calm, compassionate approach to every consultation.
After completing her MBBS in Sri Lanka in 2010, Dr Rasika went on to spend 13 years working in the ICU at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka – one of the country’s leading medical institutions.
Since moving to Australia in 2023, she worked in Adelaide before transitioning into general practice in Victoria, where she continues to provide evidence-based, patient-centred care as a GP Registrar.
Dr Rasika has extensive experience in managing chronic diseases and holds a particular interest in mental health and palliative care. She is passionate about ensuring that each patient receives a treatment plan that is both personalised and empowering – helping them understand their options and take an active role in their own health journey.
Outside of medicine, Dr Rasika enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with her family.
