Dr Dearbhla McKinney is a calm and compassionate Medical Practitioner based in Melbourne, Victoria.

With a broad background in emergency medicine, psychiatry, palliative care, and chronic pain management, Dr Dearbhla completed her medical degree along with a degree in Global Health in her home country of Ireland, sparking a deep interest in holistic and alternative approaches to care.

Throughout her career, Dr Dearbhla has worked with patients experiencing a range of complex conditions, including chronic pain, trauma, and substance use. Her time working across the UK and Australia has given her a well-rounded and deeply compassionate approach to medicine — one that recognises the whole person behind each symptom or diagnosis.

At Polln, Dr Dearbhla brings a calm and understanding presence to every consultation. She’s passionate about empowering her patients to take an active role in their treatment and finds great fulfilment in helping them explore the benefits of natural medicine to improve their quality of life.

Outside of work, Dr Dearbhla enjoys swimming, Pilates, and spending time in the kitchen cooking or baking for friends. You’ll often find her at a gig or concert around Melbourne, indulging her love of music and connection.
