About the doctor
Dr Ciara O'Sullivan qualified in Medicine in London in 1992 and moved to Australia in 1997, settling in Alice Springs in 2001. As a Specialist Physician, she worked extensively out bush across Central Australia's Aboriginal communities as well as at Alice Springs Hospital, between 2001 and 2021.
Following a career break during Covid, Ciara is now undergoing a career change, retraining in Integrative and Functional Medicine and studying towards a scholarship to become a Fellow of ACNEM (Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine). She speaks English and French.
What is an Authorised Prescriber?
An Authorised Prescriber (AP) is a doctor that has already received authority from the Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA) to write medicinal cannabis prescriptions which means you’ll experience none of the wait time associated with other access pathways, such as the SAS pathway.
